RDHS lead the Health and Safety Advisors team at the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games, with responsibility for operational leadership of the venue Health and Safety Advisors.
RDHS responsibilities included the development of the health and safety ‘process flow’ and the games time health and safety management system. RDHS placed six Health and Safety Advisors at some of the key venues such as the National Hockey Centre, the Athletes Village, the Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre (SECC), Strathclyde Country Park, Tollcross International Swimming Pool, Glasgow Green road races and Kelvingrove Lawn Bowls, enabling Glasgow 2014 to promote the highest of standards.
