The 1st of June marked the start of #VolunteersWeek giving the nation a chance to celebrate and say thank you for the fantastic contribution millions of volunteers make across the UK.
For many of the events the #RDHS team are involved with, Volunteers play a vital role whether it be enhancing a spectator’s experience by guiding them across the concourse, or providing technical assistance in their field of expertise. Volunteers undertake the same #healthandsafety training as provided to all those involved in an event, part of which are the RDHS Engage Online Health and Safety Inductions. A key benefit of our inductions are that they enable the Volunteers to complete their initial health and safety training for the event, in the comfort of their own home allowing much more flexibility and fewer demands on lifestyle prior the event taking place, whilst also ensuring essential information is presented and distributed in a clear and structured manner. This also allows the event organiser to manage training and induction records with instant updates and recording of who has completed the training.
